I regularly watch the idea star singer. It is the one of the very best programmes The judges are K S.Chitra, Sharath ,Usha Uthup and MG Srikumar. They point out the mistakes so that the participants can correct them sing well. They ask different types of singing like various composers songs, theme songs, dance songs,duet round and kacheri round etc. The singer who is the best and all rounder get the first position.

The singer who is good in Carnatic music, stage presence, and sing well get first position.
